The long-range MK-III-LR features a powerful new 2.4 GHz spread spectrum radio that increases range to 1-mile line of sight.  It also features an industry best, real time 2 second wind speed and direction update interval.

Please note: To receive the readings and display them on a computer, wall display, or cloud based system, a receiving unit is required. Receiving units that work with this device are:

Product Features:

  • The solar charged battery supply is guaranteed to operate below 60 degrees latitude. The MK-III will operate for at least 60 days without sun.
  • Since there is no connection between the sensors and the power line, damage from thunderstorms is virtually eliminated and the sensors are immune to power line voltage surges.
  • The initial sensor calibrations for wind, temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
  • The passive solar shield for the temperature and humidity sensors are modeled after the ones designed by the National Weather Service. All materials used in the weather station and weather instruments have been chosen for their durability and resistance to weathering and corrosion.
  • All of our weather station hardware is stainless steel. The station is fabricated from fiberglass and structural PVC and is ultra-violet inhibited. The optional Mono Mount is made from powder coated steel and is supplied with bolts for mounting.

Shipping Policy

Warehouse Pickup:

You have the option of selecting warehouse pickup for most of our products. To facilitate this process, please ensure that your order is paid in full online prior to pickup. If you’re interested in in-store pickup at our partner warehouses across the United States, please feel free to reach out to us. Pickup hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM PST. An email confirmation will be dispatched to you once your order is ready for pickup.

Shipping Services:

The majority of items will be shipped using USPS and UPS services.

We offer a variety of shipping options. On occasion, a third-party supplier may oversee our inventory and handle the shipping of your products. Northwest SCADA and its Partners retain the right to select the courier for shipping, regardless of the choice made at checkout. It’s important to note that Northwest SCADA cannot guarantee specific courier shipping time frames, and any delays occurring after the product has left our or our partners’ warehouse are beyond our control.

Free Shipping:

As of now, Northwest SCADA does not provide free shipping within the United States.

Single Solar Module Shipping Policy:

To acquire Solar Modules from Northwest SCADA, a minimum order of 4 modules is mandatory. By placing an order for fewer than 4 modules, you automatically agree to the terms of single module shipping. It is crucial to comprehend that Northwest SCADA does not assume liability for damages that may transpire during shipping, and the company does not supply replacement modules in such instances. Your cooperation with and adherence to this policy are sincerely appreciated.

Order Delay Scenario:

Kindly note that Northwest SCADA cannot assure specific courier shipping time frames and bears no responsibility for any delays in shipping after the product has left either our warehouse or that of our partners.

Any items not covered by the manufacture warranty above is covered by Northwest SCADA’s Limited 1 Year Warranty.

We want our customers to be confident in the products they purchase from us, which is why we offer a 1 year warranty on all of our products that are not covered by manufacture specified warranties below. In the event that something goes wrong, the buyer will only need to pay for return shipping.

Products that are damaged outside of the manufactures listed warranty specifications will not be covered under the warranty.
